Pittsburgh has a rich history with diverse ethnic and architectural heritage contained in several distinct neighborhoods for sightseeing, dining, shopping and nightlife. Pittsburgh was once notorious for its steel industry, but today it is a model of cleanliness with a landscape lush and green. The city is a unique combination of bridges, steep hills, and broad rivers make it one of the most naturally scenic cities with amazing views. Pittsburgh is situated at the confluence of the “three rivers” Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River. Located at the tip of downtown where the three rivers meet is beautiful Point State Park containing 26 acres of lawns, gardens and riverfront promenades. The downtown area is optimal for walking as it is very dense. And, with tons of die-hard fans and a long history of sports dedication, Pittsburgh is truly a great sports town.
The conference website will be updated on an ongoing basis, so check back often for new information.
