Building and Using a Story Bank:
The Occupational Health Surveillance Subcommittee convened an educational conference call and webinar in May 2012 to demonstrate how programs can use stories to convey issues, share information, or report progress to stakeholders. Objectives were to learn about the concept and value of story banking; consider individual story components; view examples; examine an Iowa program's experience after using the concept for one year; and learn how to use a template to start your own story bank. A story banking template can help you get started.
State Occupational Health Indicator Reports:
Many states collect and report on occupational health indicator data. These occupational health indicator reports describe the baseline health status of workers in states.
