CSTE is committed to improving public health practice at the state and local levels by assessing workforce levels, identifying training needs, training new epidemiologists, and providing professional development for the existing workforce.
CSTE’s Fellowship programs aim to train recent graduates and professionals in the expanding fields of applied epidemiology and applied public health informatics. Both programs provide Fellows with high-quality training experiences under the guidance of experienced mentors at a state or local health agency.
