Environmental Health: OVERVIEW
Epidemiology and surveillance for noninfectious diseases and conditions has long been a function of public health departments. The environmental epidemiology subcommittee supports sharing information and best practices among environmental epidemiologists, which gives state practitioners a resource base and network of experts.
The subcommittee works to inform and guide public health programs and policy through collaborative activities designed to make a national impact on the practice of environmental epidemiology and public health surveillance.
