State Reportable Conditions Assessment
Since 2007, CSTE and CDC have jointly conducted the annual State Reportable Conditions Assessment (SRCA). Using an online tool, State Epidemiologists update information about reporting requirements for infectious, non-infectious, and general diseases and conditions that are reportable to public health according to their jurisdiction’s rules and regulations. CDC extracts SRCA data for the nationally notifiable infectious diseases and applies an algorithm to the categorical data to result in dichotomous data that populates the tables for the MMWR each year. Data from past SRCAs is available to view and download on the SRCA Query Results Webpage.
