The Data Governance Workgroup aims to foster collaboration among epidemiologists, data stewards, and informaticians to strengthen governance and data management practices. This workgroup seeks to develop a standardized metadata (i.e., data about data) framework that would foster data exchange and improve policy discoverability and oversight of data assets. Policy metadata standardization allows for transparency with usage restrictions, and privacy compliance.
