Chronic Disease, Maternal and Child Health

Our Work

CSTE’s Chronic Disease and Maternal and Child Health Steering Committee works to support workforce capacity development for chronic disease and maternal and child health applied epidemiology.

The Steering Committee offers opportunities for collaboration among applied epidemiologists and partner organizations, and to develop and disseminate products that strengthen and guide the practice of chronic disease and maternal and child health epidemiology. The Steering Committee also advocates for scientifically sound policy and adequate resources to strengthen public health surveillance of these issues and to inform health promotion, policy development, and improve health outcomes.

To learn more about this Steering Committee, please explore the links to the left. You can join any number of Subcommittees, allowing you to receive ongoing correspondences and gain access to additional tools and resources.
