Data Standardization Workgroup (DSWG) co-chairs: Laura Erhart, MPH, Arizona Department of Health Services, Judie Hyun, MHS, PMP, Maryland Department of Health
The DSWG provides a forum to support CSTE members in their efforts in the development and application of consensus definitions for core data elements that are used for public health surveillance, resulting in improved interoperability and automation for efficient case data flow and interjurisdictional data exchange. The DSWG convenes peers from state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT) public health agencies, CDC, and other partners from across the nation. The workgroup meets monthly, in addition to data element specific discussions occurring monthly.
