Please join the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) on Thursday, April 25 at 1:00 pm EDT for a webinar entitled “How to Polish your Poster Presentation,” hosted by the CSTE Epi Methods Subcommittee.
Our presenter Amanda Jones will provide an overview on preparing and presenting a poster presentation at the CSTE Annual Conference. Amanda will offer her perspective on resources, steps to take before the conference, and advice on how to create a poster that will serve to inform attendees.
Amanda Jones is an Electronic Laboratory Reporting (ELR) validation specialist at the Washington State Department of Health. With a primary interest and focus on informatics, Amanda has worked in a variety of areas in public health including childhood lead poisoning prevention and HIV. She graduated with her MPH in 2016 from the University of Washington and has been enjoying epidemiology, informatics, and general public health program work for six years with the Washington State Department of Health. Amanda was a finalist for the Surveillance/Informatics Poster Award in 2017 on her presentation Interpreting HIV Electronic Lab Reports: A Cinderella Story.
