                scientists in health agencies nationwide as well as analytic teams from academia and private industry.

                    - Engage in discussion and share best practices in forecasting and modeling for public health purposes
 
                    - Facilitate collaboration between public health agencies and modeling teams 
 
                    - Identify avenues for sustained collaboration on disease-specific modelingTranslate questions from public health officials to modelers and from modelers to public health officials
 
                    - Identify barriers and facilitators to incorporating modeling in day-to-day public health activities
 
                    - Develop effective public health communication strategies for disease forecasts
